Status of SWAGHAR delivery — May 2026
1. Headline
Of the 2.4 lakh-unit FY26 target, 1.82 lakh have been allotted, 1.16 lakh sanctioned by lenders, and 94,210 handed over with possession. ISS subsidy disbursed under PMAY-U 2.0 amounts to ₹612 Cr.
2. Vertical-wise progress
- AHP / ARH: 41 schemes operational; 8 stalled towers under section-7 notice.
- BLC: 6,810 sanctioned plots; milestone verification SLA at 84%.
- ISS: ₹612 Cr disbursed; 23 NACH-mandate failures pending lender cure.
3. Risks flagged
- Nashik East ward arrears at ₹3.78 Cr; recovery drive proposed.
- Bhiwandi setback query unresolved with BNCMC — convergence meeting requested.
- 3 GIS layers stale > 180 days; refresh contract under tender.
4. Recommendations to Cabinet
- Approve revised ISS top-up of ₹40,000 per EWS beneficiary for FY27.
- Authorise authority-level CEO to clear OC submissions ≤ ₹5 Cr without departmental concurrence.
- Sanction ₹120 Cr for land-bank acquisition in Aurangabad & Latur clusters.
